Beirut: Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri held a series of meetings at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh, focusing on significant political discussions and humanitarian initiatives. In a meeting with MP Imad Al-Hout, the discussions centered around the general situation in Lebanon, the latest political and field developments, and legislative affairs.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Berri also met with UN Deputy Special Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon Imran Riza. The talks included discussions on the general situation in Lebanon, with emphasis on UN humanitarian programs, the displacement file, and efforts for reconstruction. Particular attention was given to service facilities, education, healthcare, and the rehabilitation of infrastructure in South Lebanon that suffered damage from Israeli attacks.
Additionally, Berri received Public Procurement Authority President Jean Ellieh and other members of the authority. They provided an overview of the authority's work programs. Ellieh also presented Berri with a book documenting the achievements of the Public Procurement Authority.
