Beirut: Economy Minister, Amer Bisat, on Thursday said he met with Social Affairs Minister, Haneen Sayyed, with whom he discussed relief files, the return of displaced persons, the impact of displacement on Lebanon, economic exemption plans, and ways to strengthen support for the most vulnerable groups to help ease burdens and support recovery.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on addressing the various challenges Lebanon faces due to displacement and economic strains. The ministers deliberated on methods to facilitate the return of displaced individuals while considering the broader implications on the country's socio-economic landscape. Additionally, discussions included developing economic exemption strategies to alleviate the financial pressure on affected communities.

In efforts to support Lebanon's recovery, both ministers emphasized the importance of enhancing aid for those most in need. They explored strategies to ensure that relief efforts are effectively targeted and implemented, aiming to bolster the resilience of vulnerable populations amidst ongoing economic challenges.
