Baabda: The Council of Ministers convened at Baabda Presidential Palace, chaired by President Joseph Aoun, with Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam and ministers in attendance.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, prior to the cabinet session, President Aoun and Prime Minister Salam met to discuss the country’s general situation and recent developments. The Council of Ministers is set to deliberate on a twenty-item agenda. Key among these is the Lebanese Army command’s monthly report on the plan to restrict weapons across various Lebanese regions. This follows a Cabinet decision from August 5 aimed at monitoring the implementation of the plan and evaluating progress.

The session will also cover several functional and administrative items, along with urgent matters that require appropriate resolutions.
