Choucair Marking General Security’s 80th Anniversary: Your Mission Is A Sacred National Duty

Beirut: Marking the 80th anniversary of the General Directorate of General Security, Maj. Gen. Hassan Choucair on Wednesday addressed personnel with a message of pride and resilience. He praised their historic role in safeguarding Lebanon’s security and dignity, especially during difficult times. Acknowledging the harsh economic conditions they face, Choucair commended the General Security’s personnel with unwavering commitment, stating that true service goes beyond material gain.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Choucair urged soldiers to remain united under the Lebanese flag and to treat citizens with respect and fairness. ‘General Security is not just a job, it’s a national duty,’ he said, reaffirming the state’s support for their mission and sacrifices.
