Beirut: Crowds gathered in Beirut's Martyrs' Square on Tuesday to take part in a march organized by the 'Association of Families of the Beirut Port Blast Victims' under the slogan, "Six Years...Justice Needs a Decision," marking the sixth commemoration of the August 4 explosion.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, partaking in the march, victims' families and citizens carried Lebanese flags, photos of those who lost their lives in the tragic blast, and banners demanding the swift issuance of the indictment while condemning those accused of obstructing the investigation.

Protesters also called for justice to prevail in one of Lebanon's worst tragedies, denouncing previous threats against judges investigating the case.

At the same time, parallel gatherings were held at several locations across Beirut, including the Beirut Fire Brigade headquarters in Karantina, before participants joined a unified march toward the main gathering point opposite the Port of Beirut.

Separately, the Beirut Port administration held a ceremony honoring employees who lost their lives in the explosion, attended by several ministers and members of the port's board. During the commemoration, relatives of the victims expressed frustration over the continued delay in issuing the indictment, urging authorities to hold those responsible accountable and hoping that the prolonged legal process would soon come to an end.
