Beirut: Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji said Beirut "does not wait for anyone's mercy, but for justice that cannot be compromised and truth that cannot remain hostage to political calculations."

According to National news agency - Lebanon, in a post on X marking the anniversary of the August 4 Beirut port explosion, Rajji emphasized that Beirut "exploded in a moment, but did not break," underlining the importance of remembering the victims and honoring their memory until the full truth is revealed.

Rajji stated, "What happened was not fate, but a crime preceded by negligence and conspiracy, followed by delays, stalling and complicity that continue to prevent the truth from being uncovered to this day."

He further stressed, "Beirut, which rose from its rubble, does not wait for anyone's mercy, but for uncompromising justice and a truth that does not remain hostage to calculations, fear, concealment and failure."
