Beirut: The Civil Impact Forum launched the first session of its new dialogue platform, hosting Justice Minister Adel Nassar at its Beirut headquarters. The discussion focused on challenges facing Lebanon's justice sector, judicial reform, the rule of law, and institutional governance. Nassar stressed the importance of judicial independence, accountability, and modernizing court administration to meet citizens' expectations for an effective and fair state.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, participants engaged in an in-depth exchange on legislative and judicial reform priorities and the role of public institutions in strengthening stability and citizenship. The forum stated that the initiative aims to provide a specialized platform for policy-oriented dialogue and support reform efforts. In a separate statement on X, it reaffirmed its commitment to constitutional governance, state sovereignty, the rule of law, and peaceful civic engagement as essential pillars for Lebanon's recovery and long-term stability.
