Beirut: The media office of Dar Al-Fatwa issued a statement confirming that the case of the so-called "fake prince" and the prosecution of all those involved is fully in the hands of the judiciary. The statement clarified the institution's position and involvement, or lack thereof, in the ongoing investigation.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the media office clarified that the person in question is not an employee of Dar Al-Fatwa or any of its affiliated institutions. Furthermore, they stated that the Grand Mufti of the Republic is not involved in the investigation in any way, distancing the leadership from the alleged actions of the "fake prince."

Dar Al-Fatwa expressed regret and disapproval over the use of inappropriate language targeting the Grand Mufti and the institution itself, as well as the Higher Islamic Council, which is known for its national and Islamic positions. The statement highlighted the institution's disappointment with the situation.

The statement also denounced what it described as a coordinated campaign of slander and misinformation, claiming that it contradicts the ethical standards expected in dealing with Dar Al-Fatwa. The institution emphasized its awareness of its responsibilities and its careful handling of all related matters, underscoring its commitment to ethical conduct.

Dar Al-Fatwa further warned against the misuse of freedom of speech, suggesting that it should not be employed to undermine the institution's message and role.
