Bkerke: In his New Year's Day sermon, Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi emphasized that peace is not something granted ready-made, but rather a process that must be built from within through a united national decision.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Al-Rahi stressed that true peace requires a collective will among Lebanese leaders and citizens, supported by international efforts aimed at building a strong state and reinforcing its institutions.
Al-Rahi's remarks came during the traditional Mass held at the Patriarchal See in Bkerke, where he renewed calls for dialogue, accountability, and the revival of constitutional institutions to ensure Lebanon's stability and future.
