Beirut: Doctors' Syndicate President Dr. Elias Shalala on Friday told President Joseph Aoun during a meeting with a delegation that the syndicate remained committed to the national values and principles uniting the Lebanese people, stressing the importance of rallying behind state institutions as the primary guarantee of national stability and security.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Shalala highlighted the heavy toll the Lebanese people have endured during the recent war. He expressed his support for any peaceful resolution that would ensure Lebanon's security and stability, while allowing its citizens to live in peace and dignity.
