Beirut:Lebanon's Ministry of Economy and Trade and the American University of Beirut (AUB) have entered into a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation on economic recovery, evidence-based policymaking, and institutional development.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the agreement was signed on October 20 in the presence of Economy Minister Amer Bisat and AUB President Fadlo Khuri. The memorandum focuses on areas such as economic planning, trade policy, market analysis, digital transformation, and capacity-building.

The agreement also aims to provide opportunities for student internships and applied research. Minister Bisat underscored the importance of investing in young talent, while President Khuri noted the ministry's strategic role in shaping the economic future of Lebanon.
