Beirut: Finance Minister Yassin Jaber, on Thursday, hosted a meeting at the ministry with the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Karim Souaid. Also present were Public Finance Director George Maaraoui and BDL Deputy Governor Makram Bou Nassar.

According to National Nws Aency - Lebanon, the focus of the meeting was on strategies to maintain monetary and financial stability in Lebanon. The officials discussed various measures currently in place and evaluated their effectiveness in stabilizing the economic environment of the country.

The talks also addressed the outcomes of recent meetings held in Washington. These meetings were part of the Lebanese delegation's engagement in the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Minister Jaber led the delegation, aiming to secure international support and guidance for Lebanon's financial challenges.
