Beirut: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced plans to initiate pothole maintenance on the coastal international highway stretching from Dora to Tripoli. This essential work is set to begin on the eastbound lane on Friday, April 24, 2026, and will continue on the westbound lane on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The maintenance is part of routine measures to enhance road safety and maintain the highway's condition.

According to National Nws Aency - Lebanon, the ministry is working with a contracting company to ensure that the maintenance follows the highest safety standards. Citizens are urged to follow instructions from the Internal Security Forces, pay attention to on-site signage, and cooperate fully to facilitate smooth operations and ensure public safety throughout the maintenance period. The ministry emphasized the importance of these measures to complete the work within the designated timeframe.
