Beirut: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants has condemned the recent attack targeting the East-West oil pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions of Saudi Arabia. The assault resulted in injuries and material damage, prompting the Ministry to express its full solidarity with the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people. The Ministry emphasized its unwavering commitment to the security, stability, and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia and extended wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Ministry issued a statement highlighting that the targeting of vital facilities and civilian infrastructure is a serious violation of the principles and purposes of the UN Charter. The statement also noted that such acts contravene international law and international humanitarian law, especially those provisions related to the protection of populations and civilian facilities from acts of hostility.

The Ministry commended Iraq for announcing an urgent investigation into the attack and its commitment to holding the perpetrators accountable. It also underscored the importance of confronting military activities by non-state actors, particularly in Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen. The Ministry emphasized that this is a shared and ongoing effort aimed at enabling these states to reinforce their authority and sovereignty over their territories using their own capabilities.
