Beirut: Fuel prices increased in Lebanon on Friday, with the price of 20 liters of 95- and 98-octane gasoline rising by LBP 49,000 and diesel by LBP 52,000, while the price of a gas cylinder remained unchanged.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the new prices are set as follows: 95-octane gasoline is now priced at LBP 2,679,000, while 98-octane gasoline costs LBP 2,697,000. Diesel is priced at LBP 2,539,000. Meanwhile, the cost of a gas cylinder remains steady at LBP 1,190,000.

This adjustment in fuel prices comes amid ongoing economic challenges in the country, impacting daily expenses for citizens. The stability in the price of gas cylinders offers some relief to households relying on gas for cooking and heating purposes.
