Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri on Friday received Banking Control Commission Chairman Dr. Mazen Souaid at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh. The meeting focused on the general situation in Lebanon, particularly financial and banking developments.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions between Berri and Souaid were centered on assessing the current state of Lebanon's financial institutions. Emphasis was placed on understanding the challenges facing the banking sector and exploring potential measures to address these issues.
