Beirut: Fuel prices rose in Lebanon on Friday, with the price of 95-octane and 98-octane gasoline increasing by LBP 15,000 per 20-liter can, while diesel rose by LBP 24,000. The price of a gas cylinder remained unchanged.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the new prices are as follows: 95-octane gasoline is now priced at LBP 2,471,000, and 98-octane gasoline is at LBP 2,489,000. Diesel has increased to LBP 2,399,000. Meanwhile, the cost of a gas cylinder has remained stable at LBP 1,175,000.

The rise in fuel prices comes amid ongoing economic challenges in the country, affecting both consumers and businesses. The unchanged price of the gas cylinder offers some relief to households relying on it for cooking and heating.
