Geagea expressed optimism, stating that the most challenging phase has passed and the country is now close to a new day worthy of the sacrifices made by martyrs, aiming for a sovereign nation and a prosperous future.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Geagea made these remarks during his party's commemoration of its martyrs in the Zahle region. The event took place at a solemn Mass led by Zahle's Maronite Archbishop Joseph Mouawad at the Church of Our Lady of Zahle. Geagea emphasized that the occasion was not merely a commemoration but a celebration of Lebanese resistance, highlighting Zahle's steadfastness and resilience.
Geagea urged reflection on the past to renew the commitment to Zahle and Lebanon. He assured that the Lebanese Forces would remain true to their word, maintaining their freedom and determination, and continuing their march toward greatness.
