Beirut: Lebanese Forces leader, Samir Geagea, on Monday stressed that his party holds no personal or political animosity toward Hezbollah, saying the sole reason for repeatedly confronting it is the severe damage it has inflicted on Lebanon. He argued that no real state can exist as long as weapons remain outside state authority, describing Hezbollah as the greatest calamity in Lebanon's modern history for paralyzing political life and contributing to economic and institutional collapse.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Geagea warned that Iranian support for Hezbollah serves regional bargaining agendas at Lebanon's expense. On parliamentary elections, Geagea said they represented the primary path to salvation, urging voters to abandon sectarian, familial, or "ineffective" voting.

Moreover, the LF chief emphasized that real power lies in Parliament, and that only a clear majority can determine Lebanon's direction. Geagea cautioned against voting for the "axis of resistance," the Free Patriotic Movement, or candidates without real political weight, calling for the election of MPs capable of decision-making and confrontation.
