Beirut: Lebanese Forces Party leader Samir Geagea called on the Minister of Agriculture to provide all necessary facilities to ensure the marketing and export of the current Lebanese apple season.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Geagea praised the government for reopening Arab markets, particularly Gulf countries, to Lebanese agricultural products, with a focus at present on Lebanese apples. He emphasized the importance of capitalizing on these reopened markets to boost the agricultural sector.

In his statement on the X platform, Geagea noted that Lebanese apples continue to be a staple on dining tables despite global advancements in agriculture. He urged the Ministry of Agriculture to build on the government's efforts by offering the essential support needed to facilitate the sale and distribution of this year's apple crop.
