Beirut: Director General of General Security Major General Hassan Choucair received Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Under-Secretary-General for United Nations Peace Operations, at the head of a delegation. Talks reportedly focused on the latest developments in Lebanon, particularly the situation along the southern border.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting underscored the importance of maintaining stability in the region. Both parties expressed their commitment to collaborative efforts in addressing security challenges along the border. The discussions also included evaluating recent incidents and strategizing ways to enhance cooperation between Lebanese authorities and UN peacekeeping forces.
