Gold Prices Edge Higher as US Dollar Weakens

Beirut: Gold prices edged higher as the US dollar weakened and investors monitored ongoing US-China talks. Spot gold rose 0.3% to $4,699.87 per ounce, while US June gold futures held steady at $4,706.90.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, oil prices fell by more than one percent at settlement. US crude futures dropped $1.16, or 1.14%, to settle at $101.02 per barrel, while Brent crude futures declined $2.14, or 1.99%, to close at $105.63 per barrel.
