Beirut: Following the welcoming address by Syriac Catholic Patriarch Mar Ignatius Joseph III Younan to Pope Leo XIV upon his arrival at the gathering venue in downtown Beirut, the Gospel was chanted according to the Byzantine rite, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, a documentary entitled “Blessed are the Peacemakers” was also screened, featuring testimonies about coexistence. The documentary included contributions from Bishops Charles Murad and Youssef Soueif, Sheikh Rabih Qobeissi, Professor Michel Issa, Micheline Abi Samra, Dr. Nayla Tabbara, Sheikh Mohammad Naqri, and Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi.
