Medina:Beirut Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian has expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia following recent attacks on the Kingdom, most notably the assault on Medina.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Derian condemned the attack, highlighting it as a violation of the sacred city of the Prophet Mohammad. He described it as a "blatant breach of religious values and a provocation to the dignity of Muslims around the world."
Derian urged the international community to respond urgently and decisively to prevent further attacks against Saudi Arabia and the Two Holy Mosques. He also called for measures to hold the Houthis accountable, labeling them as "terrorists."
