Beirut: Haigazian University (HU) has formalized a strategic collaboration with the International Consulting Team (ICT) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The official signing ceremony was held at the university's boardroom, with the agreements being signed by Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian, President of Haigazian University, and Dr. Joyce Touma, President of ICT.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the event was attended by prominent figures including representatives from the Lebanese Internal Forces, Lebanese General Security, and Lebanese State Security. Dr. Omran Ghazali, CEO of ICT for the MENA region, and Mr. Burhan Al-Achkar, representative of H.E. Dr. Talal Abou Ghazaleh in Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria, were also present. Senior administrators from both institutions and Haigazian University faculty members highlighted the partnership's strategic importance.

The collaboration, facilitated by the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at Haigazian University, is set to enhance professional development and international collaboration. The CCE will manage all aspects of the partnership, ensuring alignment with the university's academic mission. Programs developed under this agreement will be delivered exclusively through the CCE framework.

ICT, an international consulting and training organization with bases in France and Lebanon, adds a global dimension to the partnership. Together, the institutions will offer professional training programs, culminating in jointly issued certificates that reflect a collaborative Lebanon-France approach, adhering to international standards.

Dr. Joyce Touma praised the partnership with Haigazian University, emphasizing the integration of artificial intelligence and information technology into various sectors. She stressed the importance of incorporating these advancements into modern academic curricula.

Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian highlighted the critical role of continuous learning in education and business sectors, emphasizing the need for adaptation to emerging technologies. He spoke about the initiative's potential to strengthen collaboration between private and public sectors.

The partnership will begin with an initial training course and aims to expand into diploma programs and specialized training in fields like cybersecurity and digital transformation. Mr. Christopher Kijilian, Supervisor of the CCE, commented on the collaboration's role in bridging academic values with industry expertise and market needs.
