Beirut: Head of the “Baalbek-Hermel Bloc” and MP for Hezbollah’s “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, Hussein Hajj Hassan, has asserted that Lebanon is currently experiencing a campaign of intimidation orchestrated by “the Zionist enemy, the American administration, and certain European, Arab, and Lebanese circles.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Hajj Hassan made these remarks during a memorial service at Imam al-Sadiq Complex in Hay al-Sellom. He stated that the objective of this campaign is to instill fear and exert pressure on Lebanon’s state institutions, officials, and the resistance to compel them into submission.

Hajj Hassan cautioned that the Israeli enemy, driven by its “innate savagery and lawlessness,” might undertake reckless actions. He also criticized the U.S. administration, specifically mentioning former President Donald Trump, quoting a senior Senate Democrat who recently described Trump as “reckless and brutal.”

Hajj Hassan underscored the importance of strengthening national unity, emphasizing that internal divisions are Lebanon’s greatest vulnerability against external threats. He concluded by stating, “When there is aggression, division must not be an option.”
