Beirut: Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar on Tuesday held a series of meetings focused on security and political developments. Hajjar met MP Jihad Al-Samad, head of the parliamentary Defense and Interior Committee, with discussions emphasizing the need to reinforce internal stability.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Hajjar also received MP Walid Al-Baarini, reviewing general conditions and development needs in Akkar. In addition, he met with Afif Hakim, the head of the Supervisory Commission for Elections, and a delegation from the body.
