Hajjar Reviews Conditions in Border Villages with Marjayoun Official

Beirut: Interior Minister, Ahmad Hajjar, on Tuesday met acting Marjayoun qaimaqam and head of the South Lebanon district Wissam al-Hayek in the presence of acting director-general of personal status Rodina Merheb. Hajjar was briefed on the conditions of residents remaining in border villages, particularly in Marjayoun district.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the minister praised residents for their resilience and commitment to staying on their land despite ongoing challenges. He stressed continued support and efforts to meet their needs and strengthen their ability to remain in their communities. Additionally, Hajjar emphasized the importance of facilitating administrative procedures and ensuring the delivery of essential public services to citizens.
