Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Friday received Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Brigadier General Ahmad Hajjar, who briefed him on the overall security situation in the country, highlighting the efforts being made by the security forces to maintain stability and enhance security. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Hajjar detailed the security measures and traffic management strategies implemented across various Lebanese regions. These measures are particularly focused on major cities and areas experiencing heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic, especially during religious occasions and the tourist season. Hajjar also updated the President on the situation of municipalities, discussing ongoing efforts to secure the necessary support for them. This support is crucial for enabling municipalities to continue their roles and provide essential services to citizens.
