Beirut: Several areas in southern Lebanon came under renewed Israeli military strikes on Saturday, according to local reports. The town of Ghassaniyeh in the Sidon district was hit by a heavy airstrike, causing significant damage, while the nearby town of Marwaniyeh was targeted in two separate airstrike waves.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the outskirts of the villages of Hennieh and Qlaileh in the Tyre district were subjected to ongoing artillery shelling.
