Beirut: Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Al-Hajjar, on Wednesday received Director General of General Security, Major General Hassan Choucair, with talks focusing on the country's overall security situation.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, during the meeting, Minister Al-Hajjar was briefed on the health condition of General Security personnel who were injured in the Israeli attack that targeted the town of Siblene a day earlier. He wished the wounded officers a speedy recovery.

Minister Al-Hajjar reiterated his condemnation of the repeated Israeli attacks, stressing that they constitute a blatant violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and of fundamental human rights.
