Interior Minister, UNDP Discuss Support for Local Communities and Internal Security Forces

Beirut: Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Hajjar met with the United Nations Development Programme's resident representative in Lebanon, Blerta Aliko, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the ministry and UNDP. The talks focused on expanding coordination on projects aimed at supporting local communities and enhancing their resilience in the face of ongoing challenges.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the two sides also discussed the continuation of logistical support for the Internal Security Forces to strengthen their capacity to carry out their duties in maintaining security, preserving stability, and serving the public.
