Paris:The Committee of Lebanese Students in France has advised Lebanese students to avoid participating in the ongoing student and union protests occurring at various French universities. The committee's head, Omar Al-Khouli, emphasized the importance of adhering to French laws and university regulations during this period of unrest.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the committee's primary concern is safeguarding the academic progress of students. They have urged students to refrain from engaging in activities that could jeopardize their studies, residency status, or personal safety.
Students are encouraged to obtain information about class suspensions, campus closures, remote learning, and exam schedules directly from official university channels rather than relying on social media.
The committee's position respects the right of French students and unions to lawfully and peacefully express their demands.
