Tehran: Hojjatoleslam Abdollah Haji Sadeghi, the principal representative of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has emphasized that while Iran is prepared to enter negotiations with the United States, it does so from a position of strength and with caution.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Sadeghi stated that negotiations are not the foremost option for Iran. He was quoted in a Telegram post saying, "We will enter negotiations with power and caution, but we are not passive." This statement highlights Iran's strategic approach, indicating that while they are open to dialogue, they prioritize other avenues.

Sadeghi further elaborated on Iran's stance, explaining, "Our primary option is the field of jihad, whether on the battlefield or in the streets. We are not worried about the negotiations failing." This declaration underscores Iran's readiness to pursue alternative strategies beyond diplomatic negotiations.

He also clarified that Iran's decision to engage in talks is not born out of desperation or helplessness, suggesting a calculated approach to international relations. The emphasis on strength and caution reflects Iran's broader geopolitical strategy and its commitment to maintaining leverage in discussions with global powers.
