Iran: Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya military command headquarters has declared its intention to take "necessary action" against the United States following the seizure of an Iranian-flagged ship in the Arabian Sea. The military command emphasized that its priority is the safety of the crew and their families who were on board at the time of the incident.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the spokesperson for the military command stated that Iran's armed forces are prepared to deliver a "decisive response" to what they described as "blatant aggression" by the U.S. However, they are currently restrained in their actions to ensure the safety and security of the ship's personnel and their family members. The spokesperson highlighted that the presence of family members has necessitated caution to prevent endangering their lives.
The spokesperson further stated that once the safety of the families and personnel is secured, "the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will carry out the necessary action against the American terrorist army." These comments were conveyed through Iran's semi-official Fars news agency.
