Tyre: Israeli military operations have escalated in southern Lebanon, with air raids and artillery shelling targeting several villages across the Tyre, Bint Jbeil, and Nabatieh districts.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike on Srifa, a town in the Tyre district. In the Bint Jbeil district, the town of Burj Qalaway was similarly targeted by an airstrike. Additionally, the town of Ghandouriyeh faced aerial bombardment by enemy warplanes.
Further attacks were reported in the Nabatieh district, where an enemy drone executed two raids on Harouf, resulting in three fatalities and four injuries. The town of Jebchit was also hit by two consecutive drone attacks. Meanwhile, artillery shelling affected the towns of Mayfadoun, Zawtar al-Sharqiyeh, Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh, and the outskirts of Mayfadoun.
The shelling extended to Jebchit and the al-Kassair neighborhood in Qaqaiyat al-Jisr. Zawtar al-Sharqiya experienced shelling with phosphorus munitions, which are internationally prohibited. Amidst these attacks, two Apache helicopters were reported flying over the towns of al-Taybeh and Deir Siryan, further escalating tensions in the region.
