Nabatieh: The final toll of what was described as a massacre carried out by Israeli forces in the town of Deir al-Zahrani has risen to 8 killed and 16 injured. Warplanes reportedly carried out several strikes shortly after midnight on the "Arab neighborhood" near the municipality building, destroying several homes with residents inside while they were asleep. An Israeli drone also struck the town of Al-Sharqiya, killing two young men.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in a separate attack, one young man was killed and another wounded in a drone strike in the Ain al-Jamal area of Zebdine. Israeli warplanes also carried out a series of airstrikes on the towns of Yahmor al-Shaqif, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Zefta, and the area between Shoukin and Meidoun.

Later in the day, Deir al-Zahrani was again targeted in two additional airstrikes in the same area where the overnight attack occurred. Around 1:45 p.m., the town of Sair al-Gharbiyeh was also hit twice. At approximately 1:15 p.m., the Ksar Zaatar neighborhood in the city of Nabatieh was struck, destroying a residential building.

The area of Jdeidet Anssar in the town of Ansar was also targeted, destroying a house and leaving three injured, including two children. Meanwhile, the Bayyad neighborhood in Nabatieh came under intermittent artillery shelling for the first time, which also extended to the town of Kfar Reman.
