Israel’s Establishment of Buffer Zone Threatens Syria, Says President al-Sharaa

Al-sharaa: Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa asserted on Saturday that Israel is attempting to export its crises to other countries, noting that “Syria has faced intense violence from Israel, which has launched more than a thousand airstrikes and carried out approximately 400 incursions into Syrian territory.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, during his participation in the Doha Forum, al-Sharaa indicated that “Israel’s attempts to establish a buffer zone in southern Syria pose a threat to the country,” describing them as “pushing the country into a dangerous situation.” He emphasized his country’s commitment to the 1974 agreement, affirming that “all countries support Israel’s withdrawal to the pre-December 8 lines.”
