Beirut:Lebanese Kataeb Party leader MP Samy Gemayel celebrated members who have dedicated 50 years of service to the party at a ceremony organized by the Kataeb's Northern Metn district.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the event was attended by several notable figures, including MP Elias Hankach, Northern Metn district head Michel Helou, party officials, and local community leaders, along with family members of the honorees.

During the ceremony, Gemayel expressed pride in being part of a party that unites successive generations. He described the Kataeb badge as a representation of values such as integrity, honesty, patriotism, wisdom, and sacrifice.

Gemayel highlighted that the party is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, attributing its continued existence to the foundational principles of ethics, patriotism, humility, and service established by its founder.

In his address to the honorees, Gemayel thanked them for half a century of dedication, recognizing their role in shaping the party's history and their ongoing contribution to safeguarding Lebanon.
