Ottawa:Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raggi met with Canadian National Defence Minister David McGuinty in Ottawa to discuss the situation in Lebanon and the broader region.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the meeting emphasized the significance of sustained support for the Lebanese Army and security forces. The ministers explored ways to enhance cooperation between Lebanon and Canada in these areas, focusing on mutual interests.

The talks also covered issues related to international peace and security, with Minister McGuinty outlining Canada's defence strategy amidst current geopolitical changes.
