Lebanese Army Reopens Marjayoun-Debbine-Ibl Al-Saqi Road Following Israeli Withdrawal

Marjayoun: The Lebanese Army on Thursday announced that its units removed earth barriers placed by Israeli forces on the Debbine road, reopening the Marjayoun-Debbine-Ibl Al-Saqi route following Israel's withdrawal from the Debbine area.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the move coincided with the gradual deployment of Lebanese Army units after coordination with the ceasefire monitoring mechanism and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

Specialized military teams are also conducting engineering surveys of the area to locate and remove unexploded ordnance.

The Army urged residents to avoid approaching the area and to comply with military instructions until the deployment and clearance operations are completed.
