Medina:The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned a drone attack by the Houthis on an electricity distribution facility in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The attack reportedly disrupted a transformer that supplies power to the Prophet's Mosque.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the ministry labeled the attack as a dangerous escalation and a violation of international and humanitarian law. It emphasized that this incident threatens Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, security, and regional stability.

Lebanon's Foreign Ministry also reiterated its firm stance against any targeting of Saudi territory or infrastructure. It expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in addressing threats to its security and sovereignty.
