Nabatieh:Prime Minister Nawaf Salam toured the city of Nabatieh, beginning with a visit to the Internal Security Forces complex in Kfar Joz. He was joined by Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Hajjar and several security officials.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Prime Minister Salam addressed the Nabatieh Gendarmerie Company, commending their dedication and assuring them of the government's support. He emphasized the importance of security and stability for the repatriation of residents to South Lebanon.

Minister Hajjar echoed the Prime Minister's sentiments, affirming the state's unwavering support for its citizens.

During his visit, Salam laid the foundation stone for a new Civil Defense center in Nabatieh. He honored the personnel who have sacrificed their lives in humanitarian and rescue missions, stating that the new facility is a minimal tribute to their service. Salam mentioned that the Council for South Lebanon would oversee the construction, expressing his hope for its prompt completion and inauguration.
