Washington: Talks between Lebanon and Israel began a short while ago at the U.S. State Department headquarters, in the presence of Lebanon's Ambassador to Washington, Nada Hamadeh Moawad, the Israeli Ambassador Yechiel Leiter, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, and with the participation of U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions are a significant diplomatic engagement aimed at addressing key issues between the two nations. The presence of high-level officials from both countries, along with U.S. involvement, underscores the importance of the dialogue. The meeting is expected to cover a range of topics pertinent to bilateral relations and regional stability.
