Beirut: The Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that efforts in coordination with relevant authorities in New York have successfully led to the removal of the current identification plaque for the "Al Qalam: Poets in the Park" project. The ministry stated that the previous plaque contained inaccurate references to the identity of prominent Lebanese diaspora writers and poets.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the ministry was informed that the old plaque has been removed and will be replaced with a corrected version. This new plaque will affirm the Lebanese identity of the writers, whose literary and cultural legacy remains deeply rooted in Lebanon's national memory.
