Marcos Welcomes Retirement Benefits Law for Information Ministry Contractors

Beirut: Information Minister Paul Marcos welcomed the signing into law of legislation extending retirement benefits to contract employees at the Information Ministry. In a post on X, Marcos congratulated the ministry's contract staff and their counterparts following President Joseph Aoun's signature of the law, describing it as the end of years of waiting. He also thanked the employees for their efforts and dedication at the ministry.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the new law marks a significant step forward for contract employees who have long awaited such benefits. This legislative change is expected to provide financial security and stability to numerous contract workers who have dedicated years of service to the Information Ministry.
