Beirut: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced plans for asphalt paving and pothole repair on the coastal highway this weekend. The maintenance works are scheduled to begin on Saturday, July 4, focusing on the westbound carriageway from Balamand toward Kfar Abida, and will continue on Sunday, July 5, targeting the eastbound carriageway from Kfar Abida toward Balamand. The operations will occur from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on both days.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the ministry has advised motorists to adhere to the instructions provided by Internal Security Forces personnel and pay attention to on-site traffic signage. This guidance aims to ensure public safety and minimize traffic congestion during the maintenance period.
