Beirut: Deputy Prime Minister Samir Moqbel stated Thursday that the penetration of the "Ayoub" drone into the airspace off Occupied Palestine stands as a moment of pride for the Resistance and Lebanon, while noting the unpredictable consequences this act could have amid the current regional circumstances.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Moqbel emphasized the importance of convening a national dialogue at the earliest opportunity. The goal of this dialogue would be to discuss a national defense strategy and to establish a consensus on decisions related to war and peace. During an interview on NBN, Moqbel stressed the need for a unified strategy, especially in light of the current tensions in the region.

Additionally, Moqbel highlighted that Lebanese President Michel Sleiman has consistently supported national unity. He noted that Sleiman's positions are rooted in his national convictions, which prioritize Lebanon's freedom, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
