Beirut: Lebanese journalist, Youmna Cherri, passed away following a battle with illness, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and dedication in the country’s media landscape.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Minister of Information, lawyer Dr. Paul Morcos, mourned her loss in a post on X platform writing: ‘I received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of journalist Youmna Cherri, who left behind an unforgettable mark of love in the Lebanese media scene. May God have mercy on her soul and grant her family patience and solace.’

Cherri’s passing has been widely felt across the media community, where she was admired for her commitment and integrity.
