Beirut: Following separate meetings with President Joseph Aoun, MPs Michel Daher, Michel Moawad, and Najat Saliba expressed support for the state's negotiation efforts.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Daher stated that the framework agreement should be evaluated based on its implementation, highlighting the necessity for a ceasefire and a clear timetable for an Israeli withdrawal.
Moawad expressed his backing for the Lebanese state's initiatives to end the Israeli occupation, restore full sovereignty, rebuild the south, and ensure that both arms and national decision-making remain exclusively with the state.
Saliba, in her remarks, also supported the framework agreement, stressing that negotiations should be conducted solely by the Lebanese state. She prioritized the recovery of occupied territory, the return of displaced residents, and reconstruction in her endorsement.
